"Let silent contemplation be your offering" is the motif for the Anzac Memorial in Hyde Park, Sydney. The statue called "Sacrifice" is housed a the "hall of silence". It was conceived from the Greek Spartan warriors who were told to come home with their shield or on it. It is an amazingly powerful to see it in real life and a credit to the man who made it, George Rayner Hoff.
