The stunning iconic cliffs of Port Willunga are the backdrop to what was the second largest port in South Australia. Port Willunga Port Willunga Map Port Willunga Heritage Blanche Point Feels Technically not a great photo mainly because of the lens not being long enough to get great clean shots. So I had to crank the edit pretty hard but I still love the photo. Colours of the Basin Loved the colours and texture of both the sky and rock face in this photo. And to give it scale, the tiny surfer on top of the cliff, which gives it a strong sense of perspective Colours of the Basin I over saturated the colours in this pic but who cares? Port Willunga is a photographer's dream. Just ask Barbara Martin who's work you can see here on WBP or follow the links below to her facebook page. Mother and Son Walking from Blanche Point to Port Willunga, our son stops to pick a flower and put it in my wife's hair. For me, a beautiful photo in so many ways. Big, Bold and Beautiful Looking for Port Willunga to Blanche Point, 2 people walking on the beach are dwarfed by the cliff face. Showing yet another view of Port Willunga Gull Rock Showing why it's called gull rock. Love this photo but can't even tell you why I like it so much. I just do! John Rossi Amateur Photographer Email: willungabasinphotography@gmail.com Address: Aldinga Beach A Bit About Me Everybody has a story, and mine has brought me to the conclusion that the world is a crazy place full of smoke and mirrors. The general public will never know what is in store for us. Our job is to work to earn tax so the businesses of the world can use governments to exploit the wealth generated by us the working class. I'm fundamentally an introverted person and find beauty in just about every aspect of life. Beauty for me is anything that is emotionaly charged. You can't have a high without a low. It's the contrast of life and of people that make the world a fascinating place to live. You just have to sit and watch it at work. it's amazing! Despite the distrust I have in our political systems, I love where I live and I love having the opportunity to be able to tell my view on life through photography. Sometimes it's not that pretty to look at but thats life. I accept all of it for what it is. BasinView is just an extention of my photography. It is just expressing my thoughts on all aspects of how my experiences in life have led me to view the world in the way that I do. I don't know where this is going but there is something in me telling me to go and find out for myself. Thanks for your time and where ever you are, whoever you are with, I hope you get to love where you live too. -John Rossi My Blog Let's Get Social

Dedicated to those that have gone before us. WBP takes time to remember. "See you another day" This photo was taken at Mt Lofty botanical gardens just hours before we saw my Dad for the last time. Suffering from renal failure at the age of 87, he was admitted to the Modbury hospital for the last time. Words can be powerful but it's what Dad didn't say on that day that I will remember and in turn, pass on to my own son. He didn't say goodbye... he simply said "see you another day". I didn't know it at the time but this turned out to be a very special picture for me.
